Ron Brill

As President and Chairman of Anglepoint, Ron is responsible for the company’s strategic direction and long-term results for employees, clients, partners, and shareholders. Ron brings extensive multidisciplinary experience in IT and business and has helped some of the world’s largest and most complex organizations design and implement transformational SAM solutions.

Ron is deeply passionate about helping the world’s leading organizations deliver measurable impact to the bottom line by significantly reducing costs and mitigating risks in their technology assets. He believes SAM and ITAM play a fundamental role in support of both current and future Hybrid Digital Infrastructure, and believes that effective ITAM creates a climate where other IT functions (like information security) can be truly effective.

In addition to his work at Anglepoint, Ron chairs the IT Asset Management committee at the International Standards Organization (ISO). Known as “Working Group 21”, the committee includes over 175 experts from 25 countries working to develop the ISO 19770 family of standards that enable organizations of all types to realize value through ITAM / SAM.

Based in Silicon Valley, Ron has over 25 years of professional experience. Prior to Anglepoint, Ron was a high-performing Partner and global SAM services leader at KPMG. He also authored several papers on SAM and frequently speaks at industry events.

Ron holds an MBA with a focus in information systems and a bachelor’s degree in accounting and economics, as well as several active professional certifications.
