What is SAM Circles exactly?
SAM Circles is an Anglepoint-sponsored micro-community program with the purpose of connecting and learning from some of the top minds in the ITAM and SAM world, and if you’re reading this, you are one of those people.
What is a micro-community?
In our case, micro-communities—or “Circles”—are designed to foster relationship building through genuine human connection. Each Circle will be limited to 10 people and will consist of SAM/ITAM professionals with similar levels of career experience and expertise.
How can this benefit you?
Our Circles will accomplish two goals
- They will provide a new and exciting way to network with industry peers. Each invitee is carefully hand-selected to ensure the groups provide connections of true value.
- They will be educational. Other experts in the Circles will be encouraged to provide experiences, tips, tricks, best practices, and lessons learned through our agendas for each meeting.
How much time is it going to take up?
Not much! Each Circle will meet once a month for one hour. In some cases, Circle members will be invited to contribute a presentation or prepare talking notes for the agenda, but this will not be the case for every meeting. Members will also be added to a Slack channel to facilitate conversations between meetings.
Can anyone join?
No, to preserve the integrity of the groups and to make sure members are getting value from the Circles, they are invite-only.
The SAM Circles program is an opportunity to connect with other people passionate about ITAM/SAM. Our industry is growing, and working with one another in spaces like this can help us all become better equipped to deal with the rapidly changing world of IT.
